RCD310 Beep during CD play

I have searched the threads and not found this, please let me know if its covered somewhere.

On our Xmas foray to Sydney, we played a series of 7CDs, a talking book to keep the back seat in order.
All good except every twenty minutes, give or take, the CD audio would be broken by a loud beep followed by resumption of play.
I have asked about it before and as the dealer couldnt repeat the error, we didnt worry. Dont play that many CDs, but also running up to the end of factory warranty, (we do have extended) it has raised its head again.
So we had accepted it was one of those things. However, on this trip it became a right PITA.
It probably happens once per CD on average I think.
What to do? Any suggestions are welcome.

Sorry, very much an IT beginner, so I dont understand what a "TP" is?
Total Prat comes to mind..

Traffic programme (TP) function
If the traffic programme function is turned on, you will hear traffic announcements
made by a TP station during active audio mode. The audio mode will be
paused for the duration of an announcement.

We don't have TP facility in Oz. Go to the settings option of your unit and ensure TP is disabled.

I will have a look in the morning and report back after playing a fresh CD.

Well, I got the car to myself this morning and found the TP button was on. Turned it off.
Then went into the settings option and read the manual, (not my strong suit), but couldnt find anywhere to disable it.
In settings it just had GAYA and about 2 other items, none of which appeared to engage with TP.
My manual says its for an RCD 300. I presume this is the same as for a 310.

Anyway, when i get a chance, hopefully tonight, I will go drive for a while with that setting and some LEd ZEp and see if the beep remains the same.
At least with the TP notice on screen you can see when its on.

Alright, so after several extended drives with different CD playing and making sure that TP is off, there are no beeps. At all.

Moving on to why the i-pod can only operate the RSN 310 serially, that is, next song or last song seem to be the only choices. Might ask the teen about that
