RCD 510 with a weird electrical attachment

Hey
So I just got an Amarok Highline 2011
It has the 6 CD stacker version of the RCD 510
It has an electrical attachment for the life of me I cant find anything about it.
Its an VW part
I went to the local VW dealer .. not very helpful
So here I am



Any suggestions would be wonderful

The round bit is a standard VW attachment for that slot. The round slot is meant to attach cup holders, phone holders etc. The square bit looks like an aftermarket phone or GPS attachment. Very unlikely to connect directly to the RCD510 and will likely connect to box behind the radio that would be connected to the BCM or other control unit.
