Hi all,

I have been trolling the web for the last few days in an attempt to determine what aftermarket options there are out there to bring IPhone Audio and Bluetooth capability to a RCD 300. I have noticed the following two products pop up a bit and wondered what peoples opinions were and if they could recomend either or perhaps something else all together.

Motorolla TK30


I would like:

  • Compatability with and ability to charge IPhone 4
  • Stream music from IPhone and answer/make calls using MFD controls via Bluetooth and when phone is cabled up
  • Be able to change albums, change tracks, FF & RW tracks using MFD controls
  • To be able to see the song name that is playing on either the RCD or MFD


I dont want:

  • To have to end up going to my local dealer, shell out hundreds for VAGCOM coding and be berated for not buying OEM from them.

  • MY08 Jetta
  • Highline (Full height) MFD
  • RCD 300
