Hi All,

I've recently pulled out my RCD500 out of the Jetta, and replaced it with a RCD300 (GenII), which i think is draining my battery. First battery was due for a replacement and discovered it has a dead cell. Battery was replaced thanks to NRMA (minus $230). The new batter was then dead after a week. Looking through the my-gti.com website, it explains that the CAN bus may need to be upgraded. Has anyone done this before, or would anyone know how much it would cost?
