Please HELP with RCD510 with 9w7 retrofit for T5 Caravelle

Is there a long code I could enter here that will make reference to byte 5? I tried to enter 00000000 for bytes 3 and 4 and then added the binary for byte 5 as 01000110 but then it would not accept the long code, error 31

That's a different BT unit to what you have. Just use the long coding helper in VCDS to change settings. Is there some functionality which is not working right now?

So you mean you cannot pair a phone with the Bluetooth module? Is the phone showing up in the MFD?

That is correct and not showing in mfd

Ok so it is being detected at address 77 as it should. Is it in the canbus installation list? You just need to tick address 77 in the list.
Then cycle ignition off and then back to acc and then check through mfd

Yes 77 is in the canbus list and ticked. What does "back to acc and then through mfd" mean?

Just turn the car off. Then back on again. Check through the menu options in the instrument cluster to see the phone and then you can select a new user, turn phone bt on and searchable.
