No sound from Columbus/RNS510 - help!

    Hi All,

I installed a Columbus (RNS510) into a Superb today for another forum member. The car has the 'Sound System' - badge on speakers installed which I assume is similar to, if not the same as Dynaudio. It has amp under the passenger seat, plus an array of three microphones in the headliner.

The RNS510 is reporting faults against all speaker outputs, and there is no sound at all from radio, media etc.

I hope this is just the coding is wrong. I have tried numerous combinations and permutations of sound system type etc in the long coding using VCDS however none of them seem to be correct.

Was wondering if anyone has this setup (Superb with 'Sound System' and Columbus) and could share their coding, or point me towards the right info. I have tried following guides for install in Golf with Dynaudio etc thus far to no avail.

    Thanks in advance.

    Crisis averted.
The amp seems to have been in some sort of coma.
I didn't change the coding, I just queried the amp in vcds for fault codes and it seems to have woken it from its slumber. Weird.
Anyway glad it's working just annoying it didn't work straight away.

And a very good job was done by the Kamold. He fitted a 128 gig hard drive at the same time and all I have to do is fill it with music. Anyone need a Bolero, make an offer!
