New phone cradle for giant iPhone

What do you do when your shiny new phone doesn't fit the cradle in your car anymore and no one makes a new one just yet? Simple, take to it with a dremel and a drill add a $12 Supercheap Auto generic phone mount...let the magic happen...

then BAM! problem solved.





It's not exactly one handed and I'm not sure how it will hold up to actual driving conditions just yet. But until I get make, modify or buy something better it will do nicely.

Nice ghetto solution haha I've only just picked up my 6, due to a startrack messup, still copying files across, but will give it a go in my Kenu Airframe. Great little device, and it's expandable so should work fine with the bigger phones, only like ~$20-30ish from the Apple Store

Edit: Yep, fits the 6 just fine. Not sure that it would fit the 6+ though, it would be pushing it.

I had a good clickon job from Mobile Phone & GPS Car Holder | HoldMyPhone but they don't yet have anything for the 6 Plus. This will do for now although I'm starting to wonder if the screwless install maybe needs a screw to help secure everything. I'm thinking I could get away with a self tapping screw or two into the radio facia since it's easy and cheap enough to replace when needed and should still provide enough strength.

Has anyone found the proper attachment yet for the iPhone 6plus??
We have the polo gti with the genuine vw hands free kit installed...

We have had the vw part for the 4s , but now require the 6plus attachment....

Any help in finding this would be hugely appreciated.
