ive said the same thing a few times, no one listens. I did the same thing, who needs the speed on the map? there have been speed signs on the road for a long time!

It's a minor annoyance which is totally worth it for updated map data. But its still unacceptable for a consumer product. Apple had to apologize and the exec responsible was forced out for their mapping debacle.

OK.. Updated to 4120. Great to have Radio text
The only weird thing i have seen ins when i have navigation on now my lovely UK sounding Lady cant seem to pronounce suburbe properly!
"In 300m turn left towards... Dolmic" WTF is that???
And it seems like i'm always heading towards Dolmic!
    Anyone else had this?

It's dummy. Already noted. I think it is again due to map data as it appears to.work with eu maps.

Updated mine to 4120, previously running 3810. Failed to read a CD burnt at 4x, reburnt on same media at 1x (Should have listened to lowest speed possible advice in the first place....sigh). Lost maps and had no music on HDD to test. Reloaded maps to Version 5 (the one with the dodgy speed limit of 120) and all was good. Took about an hour for firmware then a bit less to load maps. All functioning normally with the addition of radio text.
    Thanks again Kamold!

when you install the custom kamold firmware, you WILL lose everything if you didn't have a custom version before.

I had better results burning the image to DVD instead of CD

Hi guys, quick Q regarding 4210...
I am running 3820 with a premium bluetooth unit, and mostly use A2DP streaming to listen to music from my phone. However it seems the track time display is incorrect - clock advances 2 seconds for every second played.
Does the newer SW fix this?

Well, this IS a thread about new RNS firmware - and the track time display being out is annoying.
It's not IMPORTANT, but it would be nice to have it fixed, so I was wondering if the 41xx firmware fixed it, that's all...? I don't want to go and load a new FW if it's not going to fix the only problem I have with my RNS...
