Of course it would look better having the RDS text where it's showing the clock instead of hiding the 6 preset buttons. Also gotta admit I'm not a fan of that colour scheme you're running there

Mate I'll have you know that that's the "Premium" colour scheme.

Cost me $300 at the time to buy the cable to change to that!

Have now updated my previous post with actual results of the FW 5218 install.

And no ... still have not bricked it!

Haha looks more like the Windows 3.11 theme. I tried a few themes when I got my cable but stayed with the grey-ish Highline theme, but doesn't look the same a yours. Which version of the RNS510 do you have, not sure if my C unit will be up to it.

Sportline is my favorite, has a nice cross hatching effect so it looks colourful without trying to look like silver plastic with the Highline or too spartan with the Premium

Giving 5218 a spin on my H unit, radiotext looks like a handy add-on

Yeah I assume it's just like the RCD310, displays song info, weather forecast (depending on station), and so on.

When there's a 90-5-5 version out I'll have a go if there's no compatibility issues.

Updated to 5218. Had to recode a bunch of stuff (remind the car it had a sat nav again, tell the sat nav to communicate with the MFD, etc) and lost all music and maps so beware. My rev D unit doesn't seem any more responsive sadly.

kamold are you able to get a 90-5-5 version of the upgrade available? I can then chuck it on Google Drive and put a link in the sticky thread with a warning if you want

Have the script ready for 4120 but not 5110. Havent had a chance to test but can send you the file and you can build the ISO if you like.
