Technically you could, but wouldn't that involve more work?
Hi everone
Need advice. I have a factory fitted bluetooth installed (all ok)
But I want to have voice control on the retro fitted Rns 510. Question is instead of going through the hassle of re routing the mic from bluetooth to rns and back can I just installed a after market mic into the rns only and have two mic in the car (one for blutooth only and one for rns only) or will they conflick with each other.
Any help would be appercated.

I though that it would be easier just to have one mic cable into the rns instead of trying to re route the whole mic cable.
Ryan do you think it would not interfere with the bluetooth mic doing it that way.
Tks
The RNS510 is built to pass-thru the mic cable/signal which is how I have it setup in my car.
Also see Min In/Out pin layout on the RNS:
You can purchase the plug'n'play loom here (if your current one doesn't support that - both my RNS510 and bluetooth are retrofitted).:

Otherwise you'll be routing a new microphone cable through your roof and A pillar and you'll still need to fiddle with wiring to get it plugged into the RNS510.

Tks for you help Ryan.
But with the loom there is alot of cable to pass around the car (plus money). I just need to know if I put in a second mic just for the rns will it make the bluetooth not work or be ok because the two mic's are separted.
Tks

Two mics will work fine. Bluetooth won't know about it at all so no changes.
Tks Ryan.
