nice install man.
have you tried facing the sub rearwards?
it usually can expect arounjd a 3db increase in sub bass frequencies.
well, the showy stuff is coming for the open boot, i have re-aranged things abit, and generally improved on things, so i'll have to take more pics!

yeah i know what you mean,
i have tried single 12 sealed.
single 8" sealed
dual 8" sealed
Dual 8" ported, i found system blending the best by facing the sub rearward in my mk3.
But not so in my MK4 golf, it sound way better firing the dual ported 8" upwards of all places.
But as you know all cars frequency peaks are different. And it's the beauty of the EQ anyway.
I i'm not into SPL at all only SQ.
Jeeze, iv'e used bandpass 8", Sealed 10", ported 10", dual 12" sealed, dual 12" ported, single 15" sealed, single 15" inverted, single 15" ported, dual 15" sealed.
With most of the larger subs, i have noticed almost no differance when pointed in differant directions. The 10" always sounded best when pointed into the rear left corner!
well clearly you have use a few more configurations than i had.
i have never actually played with a 15" at all always found them way to boomy, but then again if i had a EQ a hell of alot sooner maybe a would have,
i guess personally i need as much boot space as possible. hence 12" was my limit, but now in the MK4 i think i may go to a 10" but most likely run a single 8".
But i did play with a RE re12 in my mk4 but man that was seriously insane. More than enough SQ and SPL capabilities. Either way.
Well good to hear your system is going well.
