    NAV Point of Interest additions

Did a search here and couldn't find anything about POI sites, but did find this site and thought I'd post it up for those that might be interested.

It has lots of interesting and handy locations- like when I just can't find that favourite pizza/hamburger place, coffee shop, bottle shop or petrol station. Also has a lot of camping and picnic spots and the latest speed camera and redlight camera spots. It also has holden, Ford, Suzuki and Toyota dealerships (but no VW - probably because we don't need them ). Best thing is it's a community and you can add your own which get verified and then everyone can use them, so it's growing all the time.

Has a big range of file formats that looks like would suit every NAV software (but not sure what/if the RNS can use it).

You can add POIs to the RNS software, but it's not a particularly simple process. You need to have the original DVD, and some extra software that a guy in Czechoslovakia has written... I have added BP fuel stations and red light cameras to mine...

Thanks for posting it - I'm going to register and have a look...
