I have a JL W3 in my other car, and just my front doors done like that with MB Quart disks, and I thought that was pretty good!

That is insane man! I must admit tho, I dont know if it is really worth going to that extent of deadening in modern cars. Doors yes 100% agree with, but floor etc?

Doing roof and floor are still very very good mods, car also becomes alot quieter and also alot less road noise.

Very nice set up dude. Will look good once all done.

Carpet underlay is also a good choice for the floors. Does about the same job as the dynamat will there and is a lot cheaper. But yeah if you do roof, doors, firewall and hatch with dynamat you will have a very quiet car.

    Good luck with it all.

man - i didnt even begin the permanent install and basically i decided to change the setup cos the morel was perfect for a pure SQ setup but it just couldnt match the powerful effortless sound of a single 15" sub which im used to - so i sold the morel and got the JBL W15 GTI instead - this thing is a monster - it almost reaches my knee when its standing on the floor - it is huge and it weight 20.9 kilo's

    heres some pics

    cone

    basket

in a temporary prefab box to test if it works - and yeppers glad to report that it does

car is dirty cos its been raining non-stop here for the last three days

also balanced line transmitter has arrived

so now i can truly begin the install - just need to get that dynamat sorted first - but the price just increased so i may have to rethink this plaus im contemplating to change the car - so may not even do this install in this car or maybe another neat looking but temp install

then pull out the system for the new car when i get it
