My .:R has developed a Pink eye

Hi guys,

Just noticed that my passenger Xenon headlight is displaying pink.

It turns on normally in white, then warms up to pink.

I did a bit of research and led to believe that the xenon bulb is hitting the end of life.

I've orded a replacement pair from ebay (4300k colour temp).

Has anyone had the same/similar issue.

hi, yes, pink usually means it's on its last legs. We had that on our passat recently but turns out the ballast also died at the same time, which is less likely.
