i started at the back of the car and ran it thru to the front!

heres a foto with the glove box out.

and here is a photo looking up (as thou your lying on the floor in the passenger foot well with the glove box out!

you can see the dash support bar etc

The Black hole thing where the red wire is pointing is the hole that leads out from just behind the pollen filter box..

Then i ran it down thru the black Wire loom duct think that sits under neath where your air box should be

Lol so you did it in reverse. This is where I put mine through.

How did you go? Did you get it all usable?

    WTH?!

you done yours a way different way

mine comes thru a hole under the rain tray
and runs straight thru that black plastic duct for the loom.. the cables come out right by the battery

which is why my Wires are secured tightly around the battery box.

    secured as tidily as possible..

ill have to get another foto tonight

My Head decks dedicated power and earth wire go thru the same hole..

you can only see the wires when you pop out the cover that reveals the pollen filter..

    will take photo tonight hopefully..

i always seem to wire the cars from the back to the front..

i use a short section of thick gauge wire taped to the other electrical wires to thread them thru holes.. and tight spaces ie how i got the speaker wire direct in to the doors..

not just outside.. the doors or re using the standard wiring of the car.

Yeah that is about the easiest way to feed the wires through. Packing tape also seems to work.

I did think about running it up that duct but I am so lazy so yeah different hole as it was easier than pulling everything out. Only run a 4ga power ( thanks largely to the Audison amps producing over 750WRMS off only 50-60A for normal music ) and like to dress the engine bay up a bit. With the earthing kit it makes life a little hard to hide it all lol.

yours is a complete different story

    ihave a earthing kit to

but its only a 3 branch one

one to the throttle body being the main focus as its connected to the plastic intake manifold and as we all know plastic doesnt have conductive properties..

so the electronic throttle body has a grounding..

i need to pull my headlights and make sure everything is connected proper on them

only reason HitmanR32 has wired his power up in reverse is we did his last golfs wiring too but did it from front to rear. So he already knew where it had to go but we where unsure of the length. Hence running it in reverse.

Well really who said it has to go from front to back?

Maybe Hitman did the right way and everyone else does it wrong....
