mk4 golf stereo help

hi guys. been looking at some dvd players for my golf.

looked at pioneer,alpine and jvc. looking for one that has gps,bluetooth and ipod conn.. but are all pretty expensive and found eonon that has all of that for around $400 or so

my friend has a eonon dvd player in his commodore and says its fine. and never had any trouble. his entered into sound comps and everything and won and people say it has crap sound quality.

just want to know if anyone has heard anything else about eonon or owns one?

and does it fit in the golf as ive been told it might stick out abit from the dash.

any other ideas and help will be muchly appreciated.

They say it is for the Golf/Polo but don't say which Mk. Doesn't look too bad, even the iPod control looks like it might be ok too, the graphics are quite basic though. Can you get AU maps for it?

As for your mate with the commonwhore, if he is entering sounds comps then he is unlikely to be using the inbuilt amp, will be pre-outs to good quality amps. It will be the built-in amp quality that is going to determine the sound quality for you, unless you also external amp it, 4x60W is a big call from a cheap unit so I would need to hear one in action.
