    Mk 3 golf

Hey guys can anyone give me any advice on how to remove the stock eurovox stereo out of a 98 mk 3 golf?
I know about the keys for the front.
Anything else I need to do?
    Cheers.

I have noticed you can get ISO wiring adaptors for various cars and head units, just haven't seem one for the Mk3 Golf. I would suggest if you can't get one you make your own.

When you get to the next step, grab a generic 12 pin plug from Jaycar:
12 Pin MULTI Pin Plug / Socket - Jaycar Electronics

    Considering your likely to have:

    1. Switched Power
    2. Ground
    3. Perm Power
    4. Remote
    5. Speak FL +ve
    6. Speak FL -ve
    7. Speak FR +ve
    8. Speak FR -ve
    9. Speak RL +ve
    10. Speak RL -ve
    11. Speak RR +ve
    12. Speak RR -ve

    + RCA's a 12 pin should cover you.

If you are particularly keen you could buy a couple and wire up a spare adaptor for the stock unit on the off chance you ever want to put it back

It makes for swapping out head units in the future much much simpler for only a few $$ now.
