No worries,

I thought it was ridiculous that the kits were $250 plus on Ebay.
All up I paid $100 for the adaptor and $75 for the wiring harness.

The cable was about $75 from this seller

For the cable from the German seller you will have to request international postage. It was 15 Euros

Can you please clarify what cable you mean above ? When I click the link the Auction has ended.

Yes, the MDI kit from the UK is the adaptor unit and the USB cable only.
For ipod you'll need to buy an ipod cable (about $20 shipped from Ebay)

The wiring harness from the German seller is a piggyback harness to actually connect the MDI unit into the car head unit.

GD, I'll be interested in reading your write up. I've got the complete console kit and will rip it apart for what I need. Would love to see how you installed it in the glove box.
