    MDI Interface module required!

Hi Guys, I require an MDI interface module for my Tiggy.....
I have the cables from the head unit to the interface and the interface to iPod........ Now I only require the interface (5N0-035-342B) to complete my install.
I've been looking on E-Bay but the kits on offer are the complete kit of which I already have most of.... anyone know of one floating around on the forum??

There used to be a lot of them listed on Ebay ex Germany, but I can only find one (341B though, not 342B) on Ebay in the UK

These are the same kit apparently, and (supposedly) can be removed from the centre console housing.

Hey 99 FGT, I just bought the interface you pointed me to on ebay... the kit is now complete.... all up cost for cable ex Germany and interface ex UK, $150.
I rang the dealer just for a laugh and the module on its own was $435 + GST!!!

If you can, post up what is required to fit the unit (inc the mods to get it to mount) in the glovebox. Keen on going this route myself.

MDI interface module arrived from the UK today, I noted the model and build date was the latest model (5N0 035 342D manufactured 05/11) which was a bonus..... anyway pull the head unit, plugged in loom (ex Germany $55 delivered) ran the cable, plugged in module ($105 delivered), after a bit of powering on and off it eventually came up with "initializing MDI" in the MFD and away she went.... iPod is much clearer through the interface than plugging via AUX IN..... and got full control through steering wheel, MFD view and it keeps pod charged!! Love it.
I'm yet to mount module properly yet (it's sitting in glove box at the moment) but it's the best $160 I spent compared to the stealers aftermarket price of $435 for the module only!
