You have to check fw version with VCDS.

Can it be down graded if the Alltrack were on a higher version then the Rok?

Interesting... Our cables were thrown in by the dealer and have the VW part number on them...

I suppose that rules out my eBay cable being the culprit.

In going to try an MDI firmware upgrade on hers tonight and see if that fixes it....

Failed... just said there were no files present on the media... I'll ask the dealer to take a look at it next service...

got a mate with VCDS, so will scan both cars and see what the difference is between the two MDI's
