I had a friend make me a fibreglass speaker box moulded the boot lining in the back of my GTI.

Hey guys,
I know pretty much nothing about this kind of stuff but would like to install a sub for some extra bass.
One of these boxes would be perfect as I need the boot space.
What I wanted to know is how much would it set me back for a box and sub to be made and installed for my car. I don't need anything major just something of decent quality.
I listen to a lot of dubstep and drum n bass if that helps.

How often do you need the boot space?
Would an easily removable sub do the job?

Pretty much always need the space...I also just like the look of those boxes. They sit well and look sort of inconspicuous. Any ideas on price range? Also I'd want to keep my rns510...would I be ablE to do that?

I kept the stock GTI head unit and just installed an amp under the passenger seat for my Subwoofer. so you should be able to keep the RNS510.
