Kenwood sat nav plus camera install in multivan

Hi all,



A few questions. I am looking at putting one if these in my ltd 25 with a reverse camera.

I have purchased the unit but no camera yet. So a few questions.

Can you recommend a camera?



Can anyone recommend an installer or is this something average guy can do?

Also is trip wiring for the camera already pre installed in the T5.



Maybe these questions have been asked before - I am not sure

Saw this one in the van section and followed it here , yes the trigger wire is at the head unit you still need to connect the RCA camera lead from the front to back plus a power wire for the camera . Most of the cameras can be bought off Ebay when you run the RCA just add the extra wire for power to it by taping it to the RCA cable then most aftermarket head units will have a 12v wire for AMPS and Powered antennae this will do for the camera's power . Alternatively you could run a feed off the reverse light wire at the tail light that way the camera is only on when reverse is engaged . Thanks sunny. There are a lot of cameras on there. Anyone in particular you would recommend. Also any ideas how to run the camera wire from back to front. Any tricks? Also should the can bus need updating?
