Some said all you need to do is switch the + and - mic wiring pins of the factory bluetooth mic to the back of the RNS510 unit? which is true? i cant seem to find any diy info on the mic wiring pin swap.
My car has the factory Optical Reverse Sensor installed is it possible to have the distance displayed on the RNS? how do i code it with VCDS if its the case?
any help is appreciated
I am in the same boat as you. Seems to eradicate the microphone issues, you need to run extra wiring back. Looked too difficult to me so I have ignored it at present but if you find a easy way, please post the answer.
When I installed my RNS, the MFD screen didn't work until I recoded it ? Anyway, yes the OPS screen will appear if you select the right options - check the above but let me know otherwise and I will see how mine is coded.
