You mean the one that's been out for two months Froyo(2.2)? No it won't/doesn't. The difference being that Google follow standards.

I've been through this funny business with the Skoda BT and my iPhone.
It actually happened with my 3G whilst still on v3.1.2 firmware.
My memory is hazy (it's months ago now) but I seem to recall that a hard reset of the phone (away from the bluetooth) and then reconnecting worked fine. It then thinks that there's a new phonebook to download.
I've had no trouble at all with ios4 on the 3G or the iPhone 4 just received with my new contract.
The rns510 is still on factory firmware and the mike goes straight to the bluetooth unit under the seat. I haven't got around to making it do voice commands - just using the dialling commands on the bluetooth.

4.2 has just become available, and that has fixed the problems for me.
