iPhone 4, "basic" bluetooth and RNS510

It's about that time when I need to upgrade my old Nokia for a new handset.

I was thinking iPhone 4...can anyone advise ifnthere are Bluetooth connection issues using the $800 basic Bluetooth kit?

Alternatively how is the android OS as a connection performer? I would hate to buy into a new phone plan and discover my phone refuses to talk to my R36!

    Thanks,

    Deedub

Pretty sure the basic BT unit doesn't work with the iPhone 4.. but happy to be corrected.

I didn't think there was any problem with the basic kit and an iPhone 4 - only the Skoda kit and the advanced kit. Why not ask to try it in a demo model before purchase ?

I kind of came to the same conclusion: I'll try and source an Iphone from the dealer with the most recent IOS on board and try to partner it with my bluetooth. If it fails...then I'll have my answer.

Apple are also providing a 1 month return policy on iphone 4 so if that extends to BT partnership failure then I'm gopnna be pretty safe.

    Thanks for your advice
