Instrument cluster swap MK5 Jetta Small Display to Larger display PLEASE HELP!!

Hi guys I have a small screen cluster and have put in the Nav unit so I also wanted to get the larger screen cluster. I bough a GTi one which is an 874 cluster and will not code up. I also bought a cluster from a 2008 Jetta (Mine is 2007) and that codes up almost then fails. Someone told me that a need an 872 cluster?
My current cluster is 1K0 920 863 B.

Can you be more specific?

You can't just swap a cluster out of one car into another.
In the case of the Golf/Jetta the immobilizer is in the cluster. In order to swap the cluster you need the right tools and expertise to either match up the immobilizer with the ECU and transponders, or remove the immobilizer function (not recommended).
