should be as simple as ejecting the disc, then reinserting the disc, if not try rebooting the device after ejecting the disc

Kind of related to my previous post, after trying to install the maps, but the unit not doing anything...it allows me to search addresses etc, but does not show map unless DVD is in....anyway.....
Now I have tried once, it does not give me the option to try and save to the HDD again? Does anyone know how I can get the message back so I can attempt to install on the HDD again (pending the HDD not failing)
Cheers all

Worse case ... start process all again!
That is, reinstall FW and map disk!
But installing a different (older map) disk and then inserting the current map version will allow you the option to re-install to current map to HDD again.
But if you don't have an older map, then you need some map editing software that can change the CD volume label on the iso file and re-burn.
For instance, RNS510 recognises the V4 map as CD_7360.
Now, if you can re-burn the V4 map again with a different volume label (e.g. CD_7361), the RNS510 will think it's a new map and allow you to install it!
Well that's how I create my own V4 map with customised POIs.
