Hi simon, from what I could find out, it is possible and it just requires a flash (vcds? or something like that) to let the car know that a satnav is installed. I was never motivated to do that since i have my MFD permanently on digital speedo, and the big colour screen is clear enough to glance at anyway

Note that you will have to do the flash thing if you retrofit an RNS510 too (you probably already knew that)

The ZENEC will display the turn by turn, it just won't look as nice, also like was said in one of the previous posts it has to be enabled with the VAGCOM
