how to transfer northamerican maps from cd onto sd card?

hi I have the north American maps for the ans 510/810 (rns510) on cd but how do I put it on a sd card? do I just transfer the 2 files onto the sd card?
cd-7535 disc image file 14.7 mb and
cd-7535.mdf mdf file 6.47GB

Just a hunch, but due to the file size I'm thinking you'ld need to reformat the SD card to NTFS to have full read/write privelages.
