If you've got the part numbers for them, you can order them through the dealership.

I ended up getting a mate in the UK to bring me some of those tiny pin connectors as they were like 2 pounds with free shipping in the UK, or 18 pounds shipping to Aus....fit in a small envelope...

a quick google lead me to this ebay auction. no its not your part. but its listed in the main description and the seller claims to have it

google shows plenty of places with them, I guess you need to contact a few or just bite the bullet and paid local prices

manage to find the parts list and track them down through the dealer cost 70c each which sounds about right.

Sounds like the dealer found the 'repair wire' with the much needed pins aready attached. 1 wire will have 2 pins and you just cut it in the middle to get 2 pinned wires you can splice back into the harness.

Problem is the Stealerships charge ~$14 for 1x repair wire.

Yes... get the pin connectors and they are about $0.50-0.70 each. only downside is you might have to wait for them to be orderd in.
also make sure you find an appropriate barrel crimp tool - I got the Jaycar $14 crimper and it works fine.
