    Bea at Camden GTI is a fully qualified Vw tech, give him a ring he has all the gear to code it to your car.

    Nah my dealer wanted $1200 for the install... Reading on here says it can be done in 30 mins to an hour so that is waaaayyy too much

    A real RNS is a very simple job to do. I'd even consider doing it for a few hundred. Including the VAGCOM coding.

    I got my Ebay RNS coded for $50.
    Fitted it myself which is a simple 2 x cable swap and a few torx screws (takes me 5 minutes to swap OEM radio's now - at first can take 10-15 minutes)
