    Help undoing this

Hi Can anyone assist me with unclipping the centre speaker on the dash in a 06 passat, see image I have managed to unclip the sensor? in the middle and unscrew the screw under it but that is as far as I got as I did not want to damage the grill.

    Thanks

are you sure theres a speaker in there? I think its a ventilation diffuser isnt it?

Heres some instructions anyways if its that grille youre trying to remove?

it says there is a bolt underneath the sensor. Are you able to get the sensor out? does that give you access to whatever it holding it in?

yeah i can get the sensor out and the bolt, i originally thought it was for a centre speaker but it seems as if i am wrong about this. I wanted to put my gps antenna in there out of sight, looks like it may have to sit on the dash

There is not a speaker in there. It has plastic slotted vents under it that would have to be heavily modified to fit a speaker. It is that tight that you would only fit tweeters anyway. I would say, just leave it be.
