Help with RNS510

Hi�� my RNS510 keeps restarting, only shows the VW welcome screen then reboots again as a cycle. Few days back it made it to the menu after like 5-10 minutes of rebooting, did a system reset, didn’t help as now it only reaches the welcome screen.
Can’t access the secret menu for the version. it is a EOS 2014 from Portugal.
Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Try loading the 'josi fix' firmware. Then if the the unit is able to boot up, load 5238 ORIG.
If after loading the josi fix image the unit is still not able to boot then you likely have a hardware issue with the unit

So I tried :
“3xxx/4xxx firmware
Download: Location 1
Filename: 4020_sk_fix.rar
Size: 3.9mb
(thanks to Josi for these fixe)”
Result was Gateway Error etc

Then I tried:

“It will attempt to restore a new SWL process and will enable it to boot up. (Thanks again to Josi)

Download Location 1: swl_fix.iso (3.75MB)”
Result was: ERROR 010301

Any thoughts ?

Make sure you are burning at slowest possible speed using imgburn or cdburnerxp

Hi,

I burned at *4 with imgburn, shows same
ERROR 010301 .I tried the fix and the 5238 same result.
Now when starts up it says: The System is not able to start up.
Please insert SWL-CD.

Any suggestions ?

I would use write once rather than rewritable.
