    Genuine rcd 300 with ipod adapter upgrade to rcd 310

    Hi I have just gotten an 08 Caddy that came with an RCD 300 with the genuine volkswagen ipod adapter before the MDI. What I was wondering is if the ipod adapter would still work with the RCD310 or will I have to upgrade to an MDI.

    It work after much fuss with the code.
    iPod works but no song names, I will eventually upgrade to the MDI
