Tweeters in the A-pillars
Hey Guys,
Figured you might be interested in seeing my install, so i'll post some of the build pics here. It's been a work in progress for quite some time now... I've been through a fair bit of equipment too, trying to find something I like the sound of Had a chance to tidy up the wiring last night, and will work on a false floor to finish off the boot shortly too.

The boot (more pics to come, hopefully tidier ):
Psst, how do i get the images to show up in the post instead of as a link?
I tried tags with no success, it still linked them?
use the IMG code instead of the direct link code.
I think that is correct, just copy past them individually until one loads in the thread.
nice choice of headunit btw

wow What a setup. Looks like you've put in quite a bit of effort there, well done! With regards to the speakers next to the pedals, are you putting a grill on top of those? I know my foot would be finding it at one point or another.
Final pics of the boot?
Upload on Imageshack (4-5 at a time if its too slow), then click for direct links, then put [img] tags around each direct link.

^^ [img] test, just comes up as a link for me
I don't have any issues with the midranges in the kicks where they are.
My foot rests nicely on the footrest below the speaker, i've never kicked the driver. The passenger side is also slightly raised off the floor, so you can slide your foot up against it without any issues. Have been in for a while now and haven't been kicked, so i'm not terribly fussed. I've looked into grills in the past but haven't found anything I particularly liked that didn't have an effect on the sound. At one stage I was looking at door/drawer handles, but most I saw were too big/bulky or not the right size.
I'll grab some pics of the tidied up boot when I get a chance. Still need to create a false floor to hide the amps, and tidy up the sub baffle so it's a bit more attractive.... Just need more time
1. make sure you pick the right button on the reply screen.
2. Post a DIRECT link into the pop up screen.
3. I usually delete the auto "http:" that comes up in the pop up, as most direct links already have that.
4. No doubt there's other ways, but this works for me!

If you check my post (reply to it), it has [img] tags around it.
I think the problem is the software doesnt parse it unless it has an extension (eg: .jpg). As this forum is hosting them and linking to it without and extension, it doesnt like it.
CBF uploading them to imageshack or the like... you can all click the links to view the pics i guess :p
