    did the update and all good.
    a massive thank you to all you guys who spend your time to make this stuff available and to help people out (like me) where the stealerships cant (read as wont). i was basically told by VW the unit was most likely a write off and i would have to purchase a new unit....

    now to find some maps.... lol

    Se suburbs Melb, but as it turns out, the hdd says "degraded" so I've got an SMD drive coming so I can replace it first
