Firmware updates for European RNS510 units

Any ideas kamold? I tried the load once more, leaving the engine running the whole way through for good measure, and to see what would happen. Everything seemed to go perfectly fine.. each component updated 100% ending in SWL Success. But clearly not as the partitions are still the same, and music and maps are still there :/

I've noticed that the 'Version.txt' does not contain VwSwPartNumber: 1T0035680H. Would this cause any problems?

As I mentioned I'll need to check into the script file which controls the partitioning.
The file is protected by a CRC mechanism and a special cable and software is required to generate this.
I don't have the cable at the moment so will need to wait for a fellow forum member who has it. He is a busy man so please be patient.

I read all previous posts and I think that i can make upgrade to 402x modified firmware. It's OK?

But I dont know if I must then make coding my units. Can you tell me please if it will work (parking sensors, multifunction steering wheel etc.) without coding?

You should probably use 3980 firmware modified for older units. There is 4020 firmware with tables swapped available however I don't know of a public source at the moment.
You will not need to change any coding, this is not affected by firmeware upgrade.

You can use either 3908 or 4020, as long as it has been modified for older units.

1T0035680B is a C6 Version and look in the FW 3980 . you dont have any problems
