Factory Retrofit Parking Sensors and RCD 510 install in Brisbane.

I have purchased a RCD 510 (taken from a 2010 Passat) and Rear Parking sensor kit (genuine from T-era.co.uk). I took the kit to a VW dealer and asked them to fit it to my 2010 Polo GTi but they said they don't know where the wires go?? I thing the dealer fitted ones must be different from the factory one or something. They also told me that the RCD 510 will not fit into a Polo (but how can this be when it is an option for the Polo)

Can you please recommend someone in Brisbane or Gold Coast that can install these for me so that the OPC or PDC works on screen of RCD 510. Sensors have already been installed in the reatr bumper so only wiring is needed to be done.

Hi, that is what my dealer told me also. They are wrong. I dont why this is being communicated by the dealers to customers who care to ask, its not very accurate info, its actually just plain wrong.

Have a look at my thread. But short answer yes it fits just fine.

Hi, I got my local VW dealer to fit an RNS-510 into our Tiguan here on the Gold Coast. They did it for $155 even though I purchased the car from Brisbane. I got the RNS system from Europe they haven't got the coding right just yet though.
