Can anyone tell me more about the reverse camera capabilities of the head unit? I know there are three wire splice connections in the back, plus a yellow composite wire connector. Is the radio capable of displaying more than one camera/view?
Thanks for the replies omerta11 and scratchedeos. I'm looking to get the most out of this unit but there are so many sound-related bugs that are getting in the way. I recently bricked my unit when I accidentally powered off during the BSP flash. I wanted to keep it from rebooting as mentioned in the instructions provided by audiosources. but failed miserably.
Anyways, when the unit was working, I wasn't able to get sound half the time. Sometimes, the sound would fade in (suddenly become audible again) after twenty minutes of driving, but sometimes not at all. Can someone tell me if this has been an issue for your DNS-810? I know there has been a mention about a "muting" glitch on the unit.

I have the RVC installed in my VW EOS and it works very well. You do need to wait for the DNS to boot fully before engaging reverse otherwise the DNS will freeze and you will need to restart the car. I think it is only capable of viewing one camera.

Moda is your RVC in the VW logo?
Nope, it's the license plate light style one, because $30 versus $300 :p

That may be why the delay in the operation - it is only a few seconds and is something I can easily live with.
Fair enough. Is this with the latest firmware? I remember having those issues way back in early last year, but it's been fixed for me for a while? IDK, either way it may just be the time it takes for the latch to actuate.
