They definitely did, the new CAN-Bus model is named DNS 610+ / 810+ now, ask your contact about it. Also when you say "her answer", you are not talking to the manager of Audiosources. The manager is male and does not speak English.

When you say cold weather, I wonder if you got a pre-production batch of units - did you get your unit around December last year / January?

I suspect the December firmware you are talking about is the 16bit version. 16bit is less CPU-intensive so things might feel smoother, and maybe the old pre-production units like 16bit better. However Primo still has issues when SD / USB is running in the background while Primo is running with the 3D map moving on the screen. If you are sitting in your garage fiddling with it without simulating a navigation route you should not have any issues with Primo. Alternatively if you have radio in the background (instead of SD or USB) you should also not have any issues with Primo even when driving / navigating.

Anyway I will need to do some testing of the latest firmware version. About time they implemented the timezone option, I've been asking for it since I started testing Sygic months ago.

^ This. Also, as evidenced by the fact that Sandy has had both units, and the software is forked into 2 versions now, Old canbus and new canbus decoders. I even have the files to prove it.

Finished with uni now so can/will upload new firmware for everyone, if ya'll want. Working fine so far, no issues *shrugs*

Anyways, probably nap time now though :p

October 2014 DNS Firmware for both old and new CANBUS models. You absolutely *MUST* read the instructions before installation.

Old CANBUS = MCU version string DOES NOT CONTAIN the letter "A", CANBUS version is "VV_HW_3013110791"
New CANBUS = MCU version string contains the letter "A", CANBUS version starts 'VW_V02'

CONFIRM AND READ INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE FLASHING.

Might take a while to upload, sorry about that.

Hello. Sorry for my bad English - translation difficulties. I bought my DNS610 in June 2014. The firmware version was dated December 2013. The manager, with whom I spoke name is Lisa. Did I correctly asked her about the change module CANBUS, so got the wrong answer. The meaning of my next posts - with all firmware other than December 2013 my DNS610 bad start in the cold

Yea mate sounds like it hasn't flashed properly. Do you have a record of what was previously installed? Did you read all the instructions and confirm what version you were supposed to flash?
