DNS series head unit (new generation dual core RNS-510 alternative)

I've been following this device development since a year ago and I'm really excited to have one, but I will wait until it's a finished unit. Can someone that already has the unit make a video of the unit?

+1! I know there is a pre-release vido lying around, but can someone make one with the current firmware on the dns610?

Flashed back to 20131228 the other day, white screens stopped happening (???).

Flashed to 20140311 tonight, English shows as normal and doesn't white screen any more either. Strange. Seems stable enough, will use it a bit more tomorrow and see. Obv we're still waiting on the CPU/SD fix, then we should be fairly good to go.

@Sandy: Will still want to swap the unit over for the BT issue though. Also, any chance you spoke to the engg about fixing the mute on reverse bug?

I find the music playback through Bluetooth bad. Mostly because of the static that comes through. Keen to see what the new unit will be like when its ready

Yea, same thing for me, Sandy says it's a bad BT module, is fixed in the production units.

If the BT audio worked better I think I would use it significantly more.

^ yea, it's nice to be able to hop into the car and start music straight away over bt.

Anyways, white screen is back with the new firmware. Must be my unit doesn't like 32bit. Works fine with the old December 16 bit firmware. Strange. Unit still needs replacing though.

I have one more question, what happens when the last song in a folder is played? Does it jump to the next folder automatically (same as rcd510), or it just starts playing the first song on the same folder again?
