Hmm I did the current firmware, then the one from November, no change. Lmk If you manage to get it fixed. I also did a fuse pull for a few hours as my unit did this once randomly and that fixed it. Didn't fix it this time tho

Sorry guys have been extremely busy the past week. I will chase up on firmware, there will definitely be an update (I imagine the software guys are pretty busy too and these days I have to ask to get firmware).

I'll also find out what's going on with the hardware buttons not working on the latest firmware - I'm sure this hasn't happened to everyone though, may be something going funny with the update procedure.

Can you (xxcynicxx and kwalsh24) just confirm which version of firmware this is - are you referring to the test MCU 140104, or the earlier full release with MCU 20131228?

Mine was with the test firmware. My update process seemed to go smooth, just like every other one I did.

Just tried to flash 20131228 and the buttons still don't work. They beep when I press them, but don't do anything.

Same issue here, mine was both the December release and the test release, I flashed back to the November release with no luck

Hey Sandy, is there a plan to have radio text from the station displayed. Ie, most radio stations send current song name/artist when it is playing.

On the rns510, this feature is turn on under the extra button.

The last time I asked about this the response was that they are definitely going to implement the feature, but I think it's currently not high on the priority list. I do hope this doesn't end up falling through the cracks as I have requested it several times with Audiosources as well.

So I'm back to driving the golf after selling my 147.
The unit was playing from the SD last time I drove it.
So it started this morning playing SD with sound.
then I switched it to radio and it had no sound.
Had to shut down and restart unit to get sound on radio.

Still happening randomly Sandy.
Today I started the car and the drivers door was ajar.
So the unit was showing the door was open.
I opened and closed the door but it stayed with the door open graphic on the screen
and it wouldn't go away until I pressed the FM button. It wasn't until I did this and realised
that the radio had been muted the whole time.
I had to shut it down by pressing both knobs.
