Also my BT audio quality appears to have gotten slightly worse lately. The highs are really crackly and the whole thing sounds really flat & washed out compared to SD/radio etc. Do you know if they are looking into this at all Sandy or is it a hardware issue as you said it might be earlier? Thanks mate!

I'm pretty sure it would be a hardware thing because mine and many others have never had issues with BT music streaming quality.

I'm not quite sure what you are saying there, if you pulled the key the unit should have shutdown, are you saying radio was muted when it started? The radio muting issue was that if the ignition was on, the unit was on but the engine is not, and you then go to turn on the car, the radio will lose sound. This is the issue that was fixed in the last firmware update. Are you experiencing a different issue?

Radio works (fingers crossed)
Bluetooth works and have never had a problem with it no matter what firmware was used.
Sat Nav hasn't crashed since latest firmware ( not that i've used it much).
SD works fine but would be happier if it was set up to play the next folder instead of reverting back to folder 1.
GPS SD slot cover does not fit properly.
I bought this unit for SAT NAV, Bluetooth, SD, USB and the Radio and I might put in a reversing camera, that's it.
If they work I don't care about the missing features, screens ect.

Regarding the SD slot cover, as I said once you pull it out / twist it sometimes it's difficult to get it back in but just give it a few rubs near the bottom of the slot cover, it does go back in.

Also the extremely slow forward skipping with large mp3 files still persists (hasn't sped up at all since the original firmware) - using a 32GB Class 10 Sandisk Ultra MicroSD card.
These two issues are related. The way SD decoding currently works is that the song will start loading from the beginning and for a 4 min song this may take 15-20 seconds. However, once the first 30 seconds of the song is loaded it will just begin to play. In the older firmware, if the song position memory is at 3 minutes for example, the SD interface will wait for the loading to catch up, and that's why some of you experienced long load times for SD on startup. The temporary solution for AS now is to have the memory put to max of 30 seconds so you don't get stuck for excessively long periods on startup. In the mean time they are looking to change the song loading method, I presume to something that will load from whichever remembered point in the song rather than from the beginning.
The slow forward skipping for long songs is due to the same reason above, if you just started playing the song and want it to go to the 8 minutes point for example, the loading simply won't catch up for another 30 seconds or so.

Tested using the satnav and sd today and there is some conflict happening.
First thing I noticed and don't know if it's a feature or a flaw was how muted the music was when the satnav was on.
Pulled up at the servo to get a drink, left the car running and when I opened the door the music went up to where it was set.
So opened the door and boom, loud music. Weird.
The pauses between songs were getting larger and larger until going to song 5 on a 12 song album it **** itself and stopped.
Had to shut down to get it to do anything.
So after this I reset the satnav to finish the trip and listened to the radio instead.
When I got to the destination I pressed YES when asked if i'd reached it and it went to the shut down screen, then I pressed
the shut down nav button that comes up and it froze on the iGo shut down screen.
I drove home using the nav and videoed it happening again when I got home.
I was going to upload the vid to youtube but the file is to big and I can't be farked figuring out how to compress it.
The satnav and SD conflict is known and being worked on. As for the volume, it's because AS is using system volume for the satnav so some weird things are happening - I've reported this and the technician said they will go back to using a separate volume for satnav.
The auto shutdown on destination is really designed for portable GPS units, it's neither AS or iGo's fault because this feature was designed by iGo to attempt to shutdown the entire unit rather than just exit navigation, that's why on a head unit it would just make things freeze. It's best to disable this option in settings -> extra settings -> destination message (or similar wording).
Have you changed any settings or has anyone else come across this issue? AFAIK the shipped version of the navigation software should have had this option disabled by default.
