I can confirm sygic working for me too. Have tested with sd card playback and no lag issues at all.

But I had Wince6.0 with older units with less memory and it was ok :S I would say it's more a memory management problem. Maybe music playing has a cache and when Igo starts it reserves memory but when the cache grows they crash as they want the same "free" memory.

    I'll give Sygic a try, but it's a workaround, not a solution

It's not a workaround, it is the solution!

It's more that WinCE6.0 is not properly optimised for ARMv7 CPUs (it has ARMv4 support), and Dual Core CPUs. So its just not able to properly address the ARMv7 instructions, and can't see the second core at all. Plus WinCE6.0 was never designed to address much memory, so it probably doesnt handle having a lot of memory very well. Plus I suspect that iGo Primo isn't very optimised for memory/cpu usage.

Put those together means that it just doesnt work very well at all on newer units.

Only way forward is if Audiosources was able to move to WinCE7/8, or Android, but i've asked the question half a dozen times and they ignore it, as if I didn't ask it. Our (Sandy and me) suspect that their engineers are young and probably don't want to touch WinCE7/8/Android because its not what they know, even though WinCE7/8 should be essentially the same.

    *shrugs*

See my post there. There are more recent maps than that, but that's the best I can find. Western Europe (2nd one) has Spain, afaik.

They do have an Android unit
    Called AS-9001

Also my S600 is working very smoothly now, music and a heavily loaded Primo2.

    Hello.

Does anybody knows if DNS610 have the voice call option using the button on the wheel of a Tiguan?

Also it happens that I have two devices connected to my Bluetooth. Is there is a way to use navigation arrows on the wheel to select the contact on the agenda to make the call?

You mean voice recognition/control? Nope, no third party unit does. Edit: Actually, I lie, I'm fairly certain the Zenec unit has some sort of voice recognition feature, and the new Dynavin might too, I dunno though.

On the phonebook thing, don't think there is, I know you can switch between devices on the BT screen, but I doubt this functionality has been built into the phonebook in the MFD.

Isn't it time for someone to do the humane thing and put this thing down. It's unfair for sandy to tout for business with weekly sales updates, and then when the product proves to be faulty he is no where to be found.

My unit can't seem to remember the time. Anyone have the same issue?

The preset radio station doesn't seem to work as well. Frustrating...
