Ok, I will try changing Byte 4-7 to 000000 and see what happens.

But I can't find any info on the wattage of my "5K0 035 456 C" amplifier. I guess it has 250w, so needs coding to 03 in Byte 11?

Yes that's correct it's 250w, same as the VW Sound System amplifier.

Ok, i changed the setting but the audio is still worse (I really don't like it right now). I still need to test a little bit.

Regarding RVC: I am going to install 7N0907441B RVC module. Do I still need to get 5N0827566AL camera (right now I have "AB")? I read that only index "AL" allows a correct calibration.

What is required is parametization from a Tiguan which is only available with ODIS online. Then calibration data must be loaded to the module either via directly dumping the EEPROM contents or running the calibration procedure in ODIS.
Is there another chance to get a correct param for Tiguan without ODIS online? With access to a Tiguan with factory fitted Discover Media + RVC, might it be possible to dump the params (VCP?) and load it on my module? It's just an idea.

You can directly write the eeprom with a suitable eeprom tool. You can't do it with VCP.
Yes you need an AL camera for the calibration routine to complete successfully with ODIS S.

As for the audio it sounds like something is not setup correctly. Should be on par with the RNS510

Thanks for the info. I will install the new RVC package in the upcoming weeks, when I have time I will then look at the setup/calibration (too bad there is no chance with VCP). A friend of mine has the old highline RVC indeed working with a converter on DM. But the quality is not that good - sometimes he has horizontal lines running through the picture. That is no option for me.

Tomorrow I will check the coding regarding dynaudio again and post back, maybe some adaption channel changed back after some coding.

Ok, new RVC is installed. It still needs paramaters (will put on sharan or passat paremeters today for testing).

With Dynaudio I did not have luck yet - i experimented with the settings a bit, but I still do not get that same sound which I know from RNS 510.

Another thing which happens: When I edit installed modules in diagnostics (address 19), my multi function display misses the navigation part afterwards. I need to to edit it again and add address 37 (navigation) - after that my display has navigation again but when I open the installed modules list again, 37-navigation is again unticked (navigation stays in mfd though). Is there a nice way to permanently add navigation to my MFD?

Just add 37 and then don't touch installation list.

Ok, then it seems there is no "smarter" way of doing this.

Regarding RVC: I did not have luck with putting parameters on the module today. I always get an error. I hope I find some way to put the correct Tiguan parameters on it. But what I can read on the WWW, there is no easy way of doing it. What about putting the parameters (XML) with ODIS on it?

Just wanted to add: thanks for your advice.

The calibration is meant to be done using the procedure.
Otherwise you need to remove the eeprom and write it manually.
In theory I guess you could write an XML file and apply it with ODIS. Would be a good exercise if you can figure it out.
