Hi Kamold,
I was hoping to save the Highline Camera set up and obtained a AV-Adapter Interface. Problem is, there is no wiring instructions for it. Looking thru the net, it seems that these av-adapters are only for the lowline camera which have 5 wires to the RNS vs the highline 11-wires set up on the 26pin connector.

You mentioned that it is possible. Any pointers on this ?
Failing which, I would have to revert to a Lowline camera set up.
The only way you can get highline to work is by using the Tiguan 7n0 highline rvc module.Quote:

Okay. Got it ! Think I will have to forego the Highline camera. No point spending more $$$. Will install the Golf 7 SportsVan camera instead.

So, I picked up an adapter harness to switch from the earlier model PDC to the newer one... Any idea why one plug on the adapter cable has an empty plug in it, with some nonsensical chinese writing on it?

The black plugs are identical, save the writing and the empty plug in one of them, so I know it's something important
I seem to remember having to rework it slightly....
And it's a bit fiddly because there isn't much room to play up there.
I think you have to cut the ziptie that's on the factory harness plug and swap it for the blank one you have there because it's a different shape?
