    Dension

    Hi all,

Trying to do some research on iPhone/iPod adapters and I've narrowed it down to the Dension unit.

Just looking for some opinions and experiences and as to where you bought it and how much.

    Thanks for the help!

And yes, i have used the search option..

I have have the dension GW16VC1 which is the can bus version wig harness for mk5 golfs. It is plug and play as it comes with a harness that's connects online with he quadlock that plugs into the back of your unit. If you have a later golf that supports canbus, with the highline multiple function display and multiple function steering wheel ( golf mk5), you can have complete control over your iPod ( veiwing all song information on the highline display, iPod heirarchy and navigating using the steering wheel). It works perfectly and charges your iPod at the same time. I have been very happy win the product and it's ease of use. I have just upgraded to an RNA 510 wig retrofit MDI kit as the dension kits are not compatible with the rns 510. I am going to put it on eBay but if your interested I can sell it to you privately. The kit is only 4 months old and comes with the ice link kit which has the iPod cable and differen cradles to support your iPod( you need to purchase a seperate bracket to mont this on though. Only the iPod cable was used out of this kit as I had he iPod cable run to the glove box.

    Hope this helps

I'm curious, will this Dension kit work with the MFD2-DVD? I thought I read somewhere the Dension gear won't display iphone music titles/playlists on the MFD if you have a Nav H/U unless i'm mistaken?
