Densin Gateway 100 RCD-500 MK5 Jetta does not work

Have installed the unit but having a **** of a time getting it to work, must be faulty, even the cd player seems to function. No idea what to do.

may be point to point test each wire to confirm continuity and also check that each wire is in the correct location at the connector...

i have one i will be installing soon so i'll let you know how it goes...
