Denison Gateway 5 and other ipod/bluetooth adapters

    Hi all,
I just bought a Skoda Ovtavia RS with the Columbus System, and looking for bluetooth / Ipod options.. Sorry guys cant justify spending an additional 1000 bucks + for BT and MDI compatibility..

Has anyone got one of these?
iPod, USB and Bluetooth Adapter Dension Gateway Five (GWF1VC1) for Volkswagen - Dension Interfaces - AV Interfaces - CarSolutions Online Shop

    Seems pretty good..
The thing im not sure of is how it integrates with the car. According to the Denison Website it works on the maxidot.. However no mention if it will integrate with the skoda columbus system which i think is the same as the RNS510.

I sell Denison products, some work fine other are nothing but trouble. Just be aware that Denison products are NOT tested with Australian delivered models. I've tried the 2 different Gateway100 in a mk6 Golf and it refused to work. The Gateway 100 for a Audi TT barely worked, the functionality was terrible.

    well,
i bought the GWF121 kit and installed it today along with a gen 5 cradle.
Relatively simple to install, although i had to take out the glovebox so i could put the fakra connection out of the way fro the columbus to fit back.
Installed the module behind the climatronic and put the microphone on the drivers side A pillar near the roof.
So far so good. The Ipod connectivity works great.
The Bluetooth is a bit hit and miss.. The sound is just fine and you can control it through the HU although i need to get VAGCOM programming done for it to work on the MFD.
    But overall im pleased.
With the BT once it locked up on a phonecall but after resetting the unit seems to be working OK again. Im using a Iphone 3GS.
