    Delphi RCD510 - 2008 golf gti

    Hi all, I just bought a Delphi RCD 510 off Ebay. I've read many posts and i think the canbus gateway on 2008 models (05/2008 built) is ok with this unit (no battery drain issue). Can anyone with similar experience confirm this please?

    Also, do I need to get this cable to change from RDC 500 to RDC 510?

    Only pre 2008 need gateway upgrade so you are ok and yes you do need adapter.
